Terms & Conditions of business
- On all items at the rate specified at the time of dispatch. Every endeavour will be made to maintain prices and specifications quoted but we reserve the right to effect changes without prior notice, consistent with customer’s best interests. Prices charged will be those applicable at time of dispatch. Carriage will be at our discretion and charged accordingly.
- Orders accepted on credit are due for payment 30 days from date of invoice, otherwise strictly cash with order or C.O.D.’
- Orders are fulfilled and goods dispatched on condition that title remains with Techneat Engineering Limited until payment in full for them and all other goods supplied to the customer has been received.
- Please quote Part Numbers when ordering. Information and illustrations help to identify goods but may not be accurate. Technical details given are to the best of our knowledge accurate, but we are not liable for errors or omissions. Our Technical Section will be pleased to advise on matters relating to our products.
- Shortages and damaged goods must be notified within five days of receipt of invoice. Full and satisfactory delivery will be assumed after this time. No goods will be accepted for return without permission of Techneat Engineering Limited. Goods returned through no fault of Techneat Engineering Limited must be in an unused condition. A 10% handling charge will be levied on all such returned goods.
- Warranty items must be returned carriage pre-paid. After warranty evaluation, if warranty applies goods will be repaired or replaced without charge. Parts and labour will be charged to customer if not covered by warranty.
- If the agreed term for payment is exceeded, interest may be charged on the outstanding balance at the rate of 2% per month.
- Techneat Engineering Limited reserve the right to amend the credit facility terms and conditions or withdraw facilities at any time.
- A customer’s whole outstanding balance will become due and payable on demand should:
a) Any voluntary arrangement is made with their creditors, or they become subject to an administration order or (being an individual or firm) become bankrupt or (being a company) go into liquidation, otherwise than for the purposes of amalgamation or reconstruction
b) An encumbrancer takes possession, or a receiver is appointed, of any of the customer’s property or assets
c) A customer cease or threaten to cease to carry on their business
d) A customer fails to observe or perform any of these conditions e) Techneat Engineering Limited reasonably apprehends that any of the event’s a) - d) mentioned above is about to occur in relation to the customer’s business and notifies them accordingly. - Techneat Engineering Limited have the right to refuse credit until an application form is completed and references taken up and reviewed.
- All disputes and disagreements that cannot be resolved will be settled in the English Courts.
English law shall apply.
